That’s What She Said: Leeza Zain

Men have enjoyed the autonomy of self-definition for much of human history; women have not been so fortunate. The social rules constraining how women are taught to view themselves, their place in society and expectations of appropriate conduct have evolved. Today’s woman enjoys far more liberty to define herself on her own terms. It’s our pleasure to introduce Leeza Zain, a modern woman. NUMBER ONE
I’ve always been active my whole life… so I guess you could say I’m pretty flexible. I can thank gymnastics for that.

NUMBER TWO
I sing wherever I go and whenever, no matter who’s around. Sometimes it’s the only way I can get a song out of my head.

NUMBER THREE
I never went to prom in high school, and I’m okay with that!

NUMBER FOUR
I come from a modest family with both Jordanian and American influences.
