That’s What She Said: Andrea Kick
10 things Every Man Should Know About Me
Men have enjoyed the autonomy of self-definition for much of human history; women have not been so fortunate. The social rules constraining how women are taught to view themselves, their place in society, and expectations of appropriate conduct have evolved. Today’s woman enjoys far more liberty to define herself on her own terms. It’s our pleasure to introduce Andrea Kick; a modern woman. We had one simple request for Andrea: Tell us ten things every man should know about you. This is Andrea in her own words. Enjoy gentlemen…

NUMBER ONE
I’m outgoing, but you will have to work for my attention. I can be very shy in the beginning, especially with unfamiliar men. A man must prove himself before I let him in.

NUMBER TWO
I like machismo. I want a man who understands his masculinity and uses it with refinement. I want him to be strong and confident. If he cannot take charge of the situation, he will lose my attention.

NUMBER THREE
I am a happy person, but I do not hide my emotions and I will express my anger quickly. A man should always be sensitive to what a woman is feeling, ignorance is no excuse men!

NUMBER FOUR
I am a very physical person. I like dancing and exercising…I can express myself through my body in ways words could never achieve. I need a man who can understand a physical language.

NUMBER FIVE
Life is too short to live passively. I like being out in the world, among interesting people. My house is where my day begins and ends, but in-between I am rarely found there.

NUMBER SIX
I have no use for liars. People who are two-faced, who say what they believe you want to hear, can never be trusted. If I cannot trust you there is little left to talk about.

NUMBER SEVEN
Food is an important part of our cultural identity. I love sushi, lazaña, and Swiss enchiladas, paired with a cold Coca-Cola.

NUMBER EIGHT
I must be respected by a man in all things. A man who belittles what is important to me has lost my trust and affections.

NUMBER NINE
I dislike snobbish people. People who believe they are superior to others are deluding themselves and I find them dull. People who believe they are something they are not do not know themselves and cannot be known.

NUMBER TEN
I love to be photographed. Women are beautiful and the camera captures that beauty elegantly. The relationship between a sensual woman and the camera is unlike any other, the intensity can be overwhelming.
